HE Ambassador Wang Xiaolong Attended the New Zealand-China Trade Association AGM&Lunch Event and Delivered Remarks

On December 7, HE Ambassador Wang Xiaolong was invited to the New Zealand-China Trade Association AGM&Lunch Event and delivered remarks. Chinese Consul General in Auckland Mr Chen Shijie, out-going Chair of NZCTA Martin Thomson, in-coming Chair John Cochrane and other business communities representatives attended this event.

Ambassador Wang expressed the warm congratulations on the convening of the event, appreciated the NZCTA for its contribution to China-New Zealand relations, and said that as China continues to grow, it will continue to power global growth and in that process, continue to generate immense opportunities for other countries, including New Zealand. Mutually-beneficial cooperation between China and New Zealand is not only in the common interests of both countries and peoples, but will also contribute to wider international and regional peace and development.

Ambassador Wang stated that the common and complementary goals shared by the two countries constitute major building blocks for a solid foundation for the ever evolving, constantly growing  mutually-beneficial relationship. China will remain committed to working with New Zealand to take Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries to progressively new heights.
