Li Guixian, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, China's top advisory body, met with the New Zealand National Party delegation in Beijing Monday. The delegation is led by Gerry Brownlee, deputy leader of the National Party. Li said in the meeting with the delegation that the Communist Party of China (CPC) attaches great importance to its friendly relationship with the National Party of New Zealand and is willing to further promote the inter-party exchanges and cooperation. Brownlee said his party also lays emphasis on its relations with the CPC and has full confidence in the future development of overall relations between the two countries. (Xinhua) |
